IWC ONLY SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

There are ten (10) $1,000.00 scholarships available for the IWC (International Western Convention) applicants for the 2008-2009 school year.

 The following are the guidelines for applying for an IWC Only Scholarship:

1. A parent (mother or father) has to be a member in good standing of the BLET.

2. A parent (mother or father) no longer has to be a member of the BLET Auxiliary to qualify for an IWC Only Scholarship.

· if the parent (mother or father) is not a member of the BLET Auxiliary (or) is a member less than two (2) years, the applicant will only qualify for the IWC Only Scholarships available.

3. If the parent of the applicant is not a BLET Auxiliary member or is a member less than two (2) years and the applicant is not awarded an IWC Only Scholarship, their application WILL NOT be considered for any other Auxiliary scholarships available that year.

4. These guidelines only apply to applicants residing in International Western Convention states. The preceding guidelines are a result of discussions between the IWC Executive Board and the Auxiliary Executive Council, July, 2002.
