Dear All:

 

Thank you for your calls, faxes and emails regarding H.R. 5483, the Railroad Retirement Disability Earnings Act.  We have been told that there will not be time before the session adjourns to take up the bill in the Senate.  However, we have received information that it will be considered following the November elections, in the lame duck session.  This is good news, and I thank everyone who let the Senator know we're out here, paying attention.
