BLET Auxiliary Alternate National Treasurer

My husband went to work for the Missouri Pacific Railroad in 1979 and I joined our local auxiliary in June of 1980. Over the years, I have held all of the local offices and have been involved in every activity. Almost all of my closest friends were sisters from the auxiliary. I was asked by National President Onita Wayland to fill the position of Alternate Treasurer to finish out a term. In 2006 I was elected to the position of National Treasurer for a term of 8 years. President Becky Schneider and I brought the Treasurer's records to date and now the auxiliaries financial records are on the computer. My next four years was under President Anita Caruso, another auxiliary sister I that had joined our local auxiliary. I started chairing the Golf Tournaments for the Southwest Regional Meetings, that helped fund our Scholarship Fund and I enjoyed doing it. In 2014 my term ended and Terri Fleming became the new National Treasurer, and I was back to the Alternate. In 2016, I received a call from then National President Sereena Hogan asking if I would step up and be acting National Secretary for the remainder of term, when Lawana Poss resigned. Now I am Alternate Treasurer for a term and will help to promote the auxiliary in any way I can.
